The malaysian vinyl reissue of the unofficial compilation cassette first released by the indonesian "RC company".
In USSR of the early 80's this compilation was very popular at the in-house discotheques and especially among dedicated melomaniacs, but a kind of esoteric at the same time. All tape copies in SU were made from the VERY limited amount of smuggled LP's, almost nobody saw the real LP, and knew the origin of the record. Nowadays this compilation has a really iconic status among the nostalgic people and music collectors, solely and exclusively from the former Soviet Union.
... and it's all because of those "Nonstop sound effects" filling the gapes between tracks.
There were more disco-compilation cassettes of this "bald head" or "head in headphones" series on asian and oceanian markets in 1981-82. They are still hard to find gems, but they didn't get such popularity like this first compilation of 1980 disco hits with the very special additional effects.
Beware of recent pirate fakes: mimetic CD-compilations and reissues of the old LP-copy on CD's and vinyl! The only LP release that you see on this page is original.
