French singer and actress.
Juliette Gréco was born 7 February 1927 in Montpellier to a Corsican father and a mother active in the Résistance, in the Hérault département of southern France. She was raised by her maternal grandparents. Gréco also became involved in the Résistance, and was caught but not deported because of her young age. She moved to Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris in 1946 after her mother left the country for Indochina with the French Navy. Gréco came to be one of the stars of the bohemian “in” crowd of post-war France. She embodied the disenchantment and poverty of the French intellectuals following World War II. Gréco dressed all in black and let her long, black hair hang free. A famous description of Gréco is that her voice “encompasses millions of poems”. She was an inspiration to many of the writers and artists working in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, such as Jean-Paul Sartre and Boris Vian.

 Some of these artists would write songs for her to sing. Gréco famously spent the post liberation years frequenting the Saint Germain cafes, immersing herself in political and philosophical Bohemian culture. As a regular figure at legendary music and poetry venues like Le Tabou on Rue Dauphine, Greco rubbed shoulders with Miles Davis and Jean Cocteau, even landing a role in Cocteau’s film ‘Orphee’ in 1949. In the same year, she embarked on a new singing career with a number of top French writers penning lyrics – Raymond Queneau’s ‘Si tu t’imagines’ was one of her earliest hits. A protege and companion of studio head Darryl F. Zanuck in the 1950s, she fell in love with and almost married musician Miles Davis when he visited Paris in 1949. She was married to French actor Michel Piccoli (1966–1977). Now married with the french pianist Gérard Jouannest since 1988.

Françoise Sagan (born June 21, 1935, Cajarc, France – died September 24, 2004, Honfleur, France) was a French playwright, novelist and screenwriter. Her first novel, "Bonjour Tristesse" (meaning "Hello, Sadness," the French translation of the Billie Holiday song "Good Morning Heartache"), was published in 1954, when she was aged 18. The novel allegedly influenced the Simon & Garfunkel song The Sounds of Silence. Her pseudonym was taken from a character in Marcel Proust's "À la recherche du temps perdu"

French composer of soundtracks. Best known for his scores for the Fantômas films: Fantômas (1964), Fantômas se déchaîne (1965) and Fantômas contre Scotland Yard (1967).

His own studio was Michel Magne Studios built inside the mythic "Château d'Hérouville" where David Bowie and a lot of other famous artists have recorded.

Hungarian singer, humorist, actor, he was on the top in the 60s by singing schlagers.
After finishing his studies at the music high school in 1958, he continued his music education at the oboe faculty of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. As a singer, he reaped the first successes bay participating in song contests, he won in 1968 and in 1969. In parallel with his singing career he performeed as an actor as well, he got roles in a few films.

He released six albums, numerous singles, often appeared on TV shows, he was even the host of some of them.
His wife, Dékány Sarolta, is also a singer. Their daughter, Koós Réka, continues the profession of her parents both as singer and actress.

The Beatnix is a band that was formed by Tony Dean, founding member, rhythm guitarist, vocalist and manager in February 1980. Tony's brother Peter Dean is also a well respected WA musician with his own band, The Jets. The Beatnix had organically gone from being a basic Beatles cover band to a fully produced Tribute Show where the musicians dress up like The Beatles & used Beatles instruments and stage gear. It had many different members in it's first 10 years, and played in pubs, clubs, corporate functions, product launches, charity fundraisers and festivals etc. around Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Steven Shipley, David Wood & John Taylor joined The Beatnix in the late 1980's, and Bruce Coble completed that line-up by joining in May 1990. These musicians left The Beatnix in 1996.
The Beatnix continue on today and are now entering their 40th year of continuous production.

Shaun Cassidy (born September 27, 1958, Los Angeles, California, USA) is an American singer, actor and TV producer.

He is the eldest of three sons born to actor Jack Cassidy and actress Shirley Jones (2). He went to Beverly Hills High School and was inspired by the success of his half-brother David Cassidy of TV's The Partridge Family (1970-1974). He released several successful singles in the late 1970's. His first single, a cover version of The Crystals' "Da Do Ron Ron", hit #1 in the USA in 1977, and like David before him, he became a major teen idol. He achieved two further top ten singles with cover versions of Eric Carmen's "That's Rock 'N' Roll" and "Hey Deanie" both released in 1977. In 1978, Cassidy went on to star opposite Parker Stevenson in the popular "Hardy Boys" television series which ran for several seasons on ABC-TV. Cassidy made his Broadway debut in 1993 in a production of Blood Brothers. Among his credits as a TV producer was the creation of the short-lived FOX action/adventure series Roar which starred the then unknown Heath Ledger. Other writing and producing credits include Cold Case, The Agency, and the creation of American Gothic as well as the 2005 ABC series Invasion. He has two children by his first wife, model Ann Pennington, and one child by his second wife, actress Susan Diol. On August 28, 2004, he married his third wife, producer Tracey Turner with whom he has two children.
