Karine and Rebecca alias Karin Defacq born in Ixelles on November 16th, 1958 and its sister Rebecca Defacq born in Ixelles on June 8th, 1960 formed a duet of young singers of Brussels which gained in French-speaking Belgium a great success in the middle of the Sixties by interpreting songs for children.

In 1964, with the exit of their first 45 turns "Moi Je Dors Avec Nounours dans Mes Bras" a title written by their father Eddie Defacq, musician of jazz and by Jean Darlier, composer-songwriter, Karine and Rebecca, old then respectively of 5 and 4 years, know from the start success with the sale of 600,000 discs and obtain a gold disc
